Professor Robert Ajayi Boroffice is a trailblazer with a remarkable career spanning academia, public service, and politics. He began his journey as a lecturer at the University of Ibadan in 1975 and later became a Professor of Zoology at Lagos State University in 1986.

His academic expertise and leadership skills led to key roles in Space Science, Biotechnology, and Information Technology at NASENI. Notably, his achievements led to the establishment of NASRDA, NABDA, and NITDA. He also served as Director General of NASRDA, showcasing his exceptional leadership skills.

In 2011, Boroffice transitioned to politics, winning the election as Senator representing Ondo-North Senatorial District.
