Barrister Tasleem Ayotunde Adekanye, after completing his primary and secondary education, gained admission to the prestigious Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, where he studied Law. He graduated in 1995 and was called to the Nigerian Bar in 1996.

Upon completing his youth service at the New Karu Local Government in Nasarawa State, where he served as the Council Legal Adviser and Personal Assistant to the Executive Chairman, Barrister Adekanye embarked on his professional career. He initially worked at the law firm of Femi Okunnu SAN in Lagos before joining Ahmed Uwais & Co. in Abuja as the Head of Chambers.

In 2005, Barrister Adekanye transitioned to the corporate sector, joining Huawei Technologies Nigeria Limited as the Director of the Legal and Governmental Affairs Department.

With extensive experience in both the public and private sectors, Barrister Adekanye is well-versed in various aspects of common and civil law. He is a member of the International Bar Association and the Unity Bar in Abuja.

In his leisure time, he enjoys playing golf and polo, as well as meeting people from diverse backgrounds.
